Friday 3rd Week OT A 2026

Today we hear parables of the Kingdom of God. Of how it grows as if by unseen hands and power. And it is fruitful.

 

That is how most things of God seem to us created beings. We do not see what God sees and we cannot understand always what is Gods will or even his way at times. For what we seek in his name can often be different from what God wants for us.

 

And so, we struggle as we grow in understanding slowly. Often wondering why we do not receive what we ask for or what we want or what were our life plans and destinations.

 

Today we must seek first His will in our lives. If we work, our work must be done in His name and if we play we do that too in his name. Even when we are suffering from illness or loss, we offer it to God. For we do not know where the illness or struggle may lead us. We are asked to have trust in him and follow Jesus teachings always…. regardless of where they lead us.

 

Often it will not be where we had planned.  But the Kingdom of God will grow and we are a big part of that growth. For us we must first give all to him and do all for him and in his name. And then trusting in his graces we will be led where we can do our part building the Kingdom. To be who we were created to be and where we were created to grow the Kingdom.
