Today we recall that our guardian angels face God each day as they watch out for us and wait to hear our voice asking for their help.

If you have never asked your guardian angel to pray for you, to present your needs before the Father this is your moment to develop that relationship.

We walk through the world each day with demons watching our every move and action to use against us. They urge us to forget the truth and turn to baser desires and thoughts that lead us away from God

The good news is we have our own angels who are with God to seek our well being and are standing beside us now trying to get our attention and asking God to deliver us from difficulties and they are like best friends who want nothing but our best and they not only are near God they face him as Jess said in the Gospel.

Seek their help. Ask them to help you find your way when things are difficult and ask for their guidance and advice. No they have no power of their own except what God gave them. And our guardian angels purpose is you and me.

The battle continues with so many evil ones and angels and saints surrounding us and all around us. We are never truly alone. We have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us and angels to guide our steps. But we must listen. We must develop the power over the lesser beings and temptations and learn to discern good from evil.so we will one day face God ourselves.

Sin is never presented to us as ugly or repulsive. It is offered as a special treat or pleasure. A want that is not ours to take. But you can be sure that gifts, ideas, wants and whispers are either taking us toward God or away from God and toward darkness and spiritual ruin.

Sometimes choices offer us easy, pleasant option or difficult choices that make us uncomfortable and are hard. Usually the choice toward God is the hard one.

We are either growing spiritually or our soul is being torn apart and away from Jesus Christ.  We must choose the good way each time or we may find ourselves off the path we thought we were on and alone in the darkness. The stakes are high. We need all the help we can get.

Thankfully our guardian angels continue to speak to us, pointing to God and how we ought to live.

We all need to spend more time listening to the Holy Spirit and to our guardian angels who can help us on our journey. Along with Mary they make quite the team we have on our side. All pointing to us to grow closer to God and learn more about our faith.

Why would we want to ignore anyone that is trying to help us. Guardian angels are assigned to us personally. God loves us so much he assigned one angel to do nothing but help us learn and live and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Can’t hear them? Ask them to speak louder and find moments to be quiet in your day. Push out the noise of this world and ask God to send you helpers on your way.
