Gathering Thoughts

I am often asked to share my homilies and published articles. After 15 years of preaching and sharing the Word of God with others I have a collection of homilies, blogs, letters and other documents I will be adding here. I hope to add to this weekly as my assignments in homiletics, spiritual direction training and articles for Catholic publications accrue.

Over the years I have served primarily in Austin,Texas but have spent a few years in Greensboro, NC and even spent a year in Vienna, Austria serving the people of that diocese at the Votive Kirche. So many of my homilies might address different facets of the parish I am speaking to and my own experience in those places.

Many of my homilies were inspired by others I have heard or read and if someone else was particularly effective at presenting a point I wanted to put forth I felt open to borrow, as preachers are apt to do.
